The IDEA team coordinates and supports the activities of the network.
Frank is the Director of IDEA having joined in March 2013. He is responsible for leading the organisation, implementing the IDEA Strategy, managing staff and reporting to the National Council. Frank is engaged in all aspects of IDEA's activities, in particular in representing the association in various networks and fora, in promoting Development Education nationally and internationally and in advocacy on behalf of IDEA members.

Capacity Development Manager
Elaine manages the implementation of IDEA's capacity development programme with IDEA members, particularly in the areas of organisational management and Development Education practice. Elaine has worked for IDEA since June 2013 when she joined as project manager of the EU-funded project 'Challenging the Crisis'. She moved into her current role in October 2016. Elaine is currently on Maternity Leave and her replacement is Morína O'Neill, who can be contacted: email@example.com

Communications and Events Manager
Éimear manages IDEA's communications including the E-Circular, Social Media, Annual Conference, events and general communications related activities. She joined IDEA in March 2015.

Finance and Administration Officer
Sal manages IDEA's finance and administration functions within the organisation. She joined IDEA in October 2016. Prior to this, Sal worked in the financial private sector as well as working in human rights organisations on a variety of education projects. Sal recently completed a MA in International Development, Environment and Conflict in Dublin City University.

Bridge 47: Partnerships Coordinator
Maeve is Partnerships Coordinator of the Bridge 47: Building Global Citizenship Project. She joined IDEA in February 2018. Her role supports the development of partnerships between Development Education practitioners and a wide range of stakeholders across Ireland and the EU. Prior to this Maeve worked as Programme Advisor with the International Labour Organisation in Cambodia and Geneva and most recently as Programme Manager with the C&A Foundation in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Bridge 47: National Officer
Ji delivers and coordinates national activities in Ireland on behalf of IDEA for a three-year European Commission-funded project entitled Bridge 47: Building Global Citizenship. Her role focuses on building partnerships between IDEA members and key external stakeholders to increase the impact and outreach of Development Education and awareness of Sustainable Development Goals. Ji joined IDEA in June 2018.
