Age Action Ireland: Seminar on Healthy ageing in the Global South

August 17, 2016

Age Action Ireland are running a half day seminar on Thursday, 13 October, 9am-1pm, Alexander Hotel, 41-47 Fenian Street, Dublin 2.  This is an opportunity to explore what healthy ageing looks like for older people in developing countries, particularly the challenges and opportunities going forward in an era of global ageing populations. It will examine this in the context of SDG health goal 3, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well being for all, at all ages. It will also look at the measurement of health and well being of older people in the Global South as well as give a practitioner perspective from Tanzania.
