Training & Skills Development

IDEA supports our members around monitoring, evaluating and capturing the impact of the work they do. We offer training and support on how to measure impact, particularly around adapting results-based approaches for use in Development Education contexts. As well as looking at the basic requirements for demonstrating and reporting on progress, we also support members to be creative and innovative in gathering evidence that shows the impact of their work.

A practical toolkit

This toolkit, developed by IDEA, aims to help practitioners developing Results Frameworks for Development Education projects. It takes you step by step through the process of building an effective results table to reach the change you want to achieve, within the timeframe of your project. While created to reflect Irish Aid’s Results Framework for Development Education Grants rounds, the approach outlined in the toolkit can be applied to many other Development Education settings.
