The IDEA AGM and Conference 2018 will take place Wednesday, 06 June, in The President's Hall, Blackhall Place, Arran Quay, Dublin 7. This year the theme will be Transformative Education for Global Citizenship – SDG 4.7 in Ireland, and the conference will be held in collaboration with Aontas and the National Youth Council of Ireland.
The aim of the conference is to bring together those working in the Development Education sector with representatives from sectors, whose work also supports this target, to explore the opportunities and challenges offered by SDG 4.7.
There will be a panel of speakers exploring SDG 4.7, how we can engage with it, the possibilities of working together towards this target, and how we can highlight the importance of SDG 4.7 to the overall achievement of the SDGs. There will also be a series of workshops providing practical tools and approaches that can be used to engage with SDG 4.7 as part of your everyday work.
