November 28, 2018

Lourdes Youth and Community Services (LYCS) is seeking expressions of interest for their course on Facilitating Global Citizenship Education in the Community – A 5 Day Training for Trainers Programme. It will take place 19 & 26 February, and 12,19 & 26 March 2019.

LYCS has been facilitating Development Education learning in the Community Sector for 25 years. They believe that the ability to dialogue together in groups is crucial to creating a more equal and sustainable world.

This course will help you understand more about how groups work and feel more confident about facilitating learning in groups. You will explore group development and dynamics, the role of the facilitator, skills in inquiry, experiential learning, working with emotion, learning styles, dealing with difficulties and conflict, planning, promoting and delivering learning events.
