The network we want: How IDEA members act together

Description: We are all challenged by the increasingly turbulent world we work in; genocide in Palestine, war in Europe, the rise of the far-right including in Ireland and climate breakdown. As the IDEA network, we may have differences of opinion about the best courses of action; as IDEA, as independent organisations, and even within member organisations. How as a network are we to engage in debate with each other and how do we want to act as a collective? What type of network and culture do we want in IDEA for the next 20 years? Join this workshop to consider some of the challenges in responding to the crises of our time and how we engage and act collectively on them. In an increasingly polarised and turbulent world – what is the IDEA we want?
