The Role of the Artist is to make Revolution Irresistible

September 26, 2013

The budget is looming and a group of activists made up of Comhlámh and IDEA members wish to create the space to discuss the issues involved, explore the impact of austerity on communities locally and globally, and to do something about it! We will be making t shirts from 4pm – 6pm on Monday 30th September in the Comhlámh offices , in advance of the Spectacle of Defiance and Hope – a creative demonstration bringing together diverse groups within the community and voluntary sector. We will be joined by a member of the Spectacle committee to share information about the impact the cuts have had on local communities.

Please join us – come along (with your t-shirt) for a good conversation and a space to get arty for activism!
