Roundtable on Development Education (Global Youth Work) & Youth

Dublin Castle, Wednesday 8th October, 10.00 – 16.30

This event, organised by the National Youth Council of Ireland, is the beginning of a process which will inform the creation of a strategy for Development Education/Global Youth Work in the Irish Youth Work Sector in 2015. The Roundtable will gather approx 80 people together to discuss key issues, mapping the way forward for Development Education and Youth in Ireland.  The event is aimed at management of and practitioners in youth work, development education and development.  It is open to youth organisations, youth workers, youth leaders, those involved in policy making, and young people. The event will be addressed by key youth work personnel, policy makers, academics and young people.
